Job Summary:
We're looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to manage our financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide financial insights to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
- Manage and supervise accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions and growth initiatives
- Develop and implement financial processes and controls to improve efficiency and reduce risk
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and management, to ensure alignment and maximum impact
- Identify and address financial discrepancies, anomalies, and areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) designation or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in the retail sector
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong leadership and team management skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with specific accounting software or systems
- Knowledge of financial planning and budgeting
- Certification in financial management or leadership
