Role Overview: As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between finance and technology. You will work closely with the product team, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that our product is tailored to meet the needs of accounting professionals and businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Understanding: Gain an in-depth understanding of the Kitaabh platform and its features to effectively analyze and document business requirements.
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for new features and enhancements.
- Process Mapping: Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements to optimize workflows within the accounting platform.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs) and Process Flow Diagrams to ensure accurate implementation of product features.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Conduct UAT for new features and functionalities, ensuring they meet the business requirements and are user-friendly.
- Data Analysis: Analyze financial data and transactions to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas of improvement for our platform.
- Training & Support: Assist in training end-users and clients on product features, ensuring smooth onboarding and adoption.
- Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, accounting practices, and competitor products to provide valuable insights for product enhancement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, designers, and QA teams to ensure seamless communication and successful project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with completed Articleship.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related roles (experience in a SaaS environment is a plus).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and financial processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Proficient in using MS Excel, financial software, and accounting tools.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders and team members.
