Details:
Chartered accountants offer financial advice, audit accounts and provide trustworthy information about financial records. This might involve financial reporting, taxation, auditing, forensic accounting, corporate finance, business recovery and insolvency, or accounting systems and processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Income Tax: Filing income tax returns. Replying to income tax notices.
Accounts: Finalization of accounts of group companies. Scrutiny on interest & other charges charged by bank & following up for reversal of excess interest/charges.
Service Tax: Taking care of Service Tax working, payments & returns. Replying to service tax notices.
VAT: Taking care of VAT working, payments & returns. Replying to notices.
Luxury Tax: Taking care of VAT working, payments & returns. Replying to notices.
Profession Tax: Taking care of working & payments of profession tax. Taking care of profession tax return.
MIS: Reviewing monthly reports of all projects.
Care Rating: Providing financial data for credit rating. Renewal of credit rating.
Loan: Preparing project report, cash flow, fund flow, & other financial reports for loan proposals. Preparing provisional balance sheet, net worth & other certificates for half yearly review. Providing details for renewal of banking facilities.
Internal Audit: Coordinating with internal auditors. Reviewing their observations & discussing the same with the management.
Compliance: Taking care of RBI returns. Taking care of RBS compliance. Taking care of Foreign Remittance compliance.
Tax/Expenses Planning: Reviewing accounts and preparing provisional P & L for tax planning. Reviewing and compare expenses, find abnormality & their reasons. Studying various case studies and recent amendments & suggesting management to avail benefits wherever possible.
Departmental: Providing necessary guidance to accounts staff. Reviewing performance of department & raising staff requirement
