Chartered Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly competent Chartered Accountant to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles. As a Chartered Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and providing strategic financial guidance to the organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all aspects of financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.

2. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

3. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.

4. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

5. Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

6. Conduct regular internal audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.

7. Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory authorities during audits and inspections.

8. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risk.

9. Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements, and ensure compliance.

10. Support cross-functional teams on financial matters and provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
