Chartered Accountant

Responsibilities:

GST Division:

Lead and oversee the GST division of the firm, managing all aspects of Goods and Services Tax compliance and advisory services.

Develop and implement GST compliance strategies for clients, ensuring timely and accurate filing of GST returns and compliance with GST laws and regulations.

Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on complex GST issues, including input tax credit, reverse charge mechanism, and GST implications on transactions.

Review GST returns prepared by team members for accuracy and completeness, and address any discrepancies or issues identified.

Keep abreast of changes in GST laws, rules, and notifications, and communicate the impact on clients businesses effectively.

Conduct GST audits and assist clients in responding to GST notices and inquiries from tax authorities.

Manage client relationships, addressing their queries and concerns promptly, and proactively identifying opportunities for additional services.

Collaborate with other departments within the firm to cross-sell services and provide integrated solutions to clients.

Statutory Audit:

Plan, execute, and supervise statutory audit engagements for various clients, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements.

Manage a team of audit professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship as necessary.

Stay updated on changes in auditing standards, regulations, and industry best practices, and ensure their implementation within the division.

Qualifications:

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5-8 years of POST QUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE.

Demonstrated experience in statutory audit engagements and strong knowledge of auditing standards

Proven expertise in GST compliance and advisory services, with a deep understanding of GST laws and regulations

Working knowledge of Company Secretarial (CS) work and other regulatory compliances preferred.

Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficiency in MS Office suite and accounting software.
