What Work You Will be Responsible For:
Delivering a full range of Partnership tax services for Financial Services Clients in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe. Responsible for managing and coordinating tax compliance and advisory work for clients.
Providing tax planning and reviewing complex 1065 tax returns of Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, Venture Capital Funds, Fund of Funds, and similar complex structures.
Review and managing of the Tax returns and supporting Work papers as per US Tax Law
Compliances for: i) Form 1065, Schedules K-1, K-2, K-3, ii) State and Local Tax compliances iii) International filling compliances
Lead client relationships on day-to-day tax matters supporting partners with service execution and development of extended services
Research and consult on technical matters and special projects
Proactively build relationships and communicate effectively with the client to provide superior client service. You will be responsible to identify tax issues and propose potential solutions to resolve them.
You will be involved in all aspects of tax assignments from planning and projections to finalization.
As a part of our client's team, you will have an opportunity to work seamlessly with US counter parts by utilizing our state of the art technology and electronic office tools and processes
Mentor, develop, and motivate Seniors and Staff
Identify potential opportunities for new and/or extended client services
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required
10+ years of progressive US/Global taxation experience
CPA/CA or Enrolled Agent
Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
Experience working directly with clients and/or global counterparts
Experience working with financial services clients.
