Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Chartered Accountant at EthiFore Consulting Private Limited located in Mumbai. As a Chartered Accountant, you will be responsible for conducting financial audits, preparing financial statements, analysing financial data, providing tax advice, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This is an on-site role, and you will be based in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, examine, and analyse financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, accuracy of financial records, and efficiency of operations.
- Manage tax compliance, planning, and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate filing of tax returns.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to improve profitability and support business growth.
- Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to aid in decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and senior management.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, policies, and procedures.
- Stay updated with changes in financial regulations, laws, and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is preferable.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
