Looking for aChartered Accountant (CA) with 5 to 10 years experience, havinga strong background in accounting, financial planning, and auditing, preferrably someexperience in the infrastructure or construction industry. This role involves managing the company's financial health, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the execution of major infrastructure projects from a financial perspective.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports in compliance with Indian accounting standards (Ind-AS)
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with project teams to develop financial models, prepare budgets, and forecast cash flows for ongoing and upcoming infrastructure projects
- Taxation & Compliance: Ensure timely filing of tax returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and compliance with all applicable tax laws, including direct and indirect taxes
- Audit Management: Coordinate with external and internal auditors for statutory audits, tax audits, and project audits, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Cost Control & Analysis: Monitor project costs, identify areas for cost reduction, and work with the project team to optimize resources and financial efficiency
- Cash Flow Management: Ensure the smooth flow of funds for projects by monitoring cash inflows and outflows, and maintain effective working capital management
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, including company law, tax laws, and industry-specific regulations
- Financial Risk Management: Identify financial risks related to projects and develop strategies to mitigate these risks
- MIS Reporting: Provide timely and accurate Management Information System (MIS) reports to senior management to aid in decision-making
- Liaison with Banks & Financial Institutions: Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions for project financing, bank guarantees, and other financial instruments
- Contract & Vendor Management: Oversee the financial aspects of contracts with contractors, suppliers, and vendors, ensuring timely payments and adherence to contract terms
- Statutory Filings & Compliance: Ensure all statutory filings related to ROC, MCA, and other regulatory bodies are up-to-date
Mandatory Requirements:- Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS) and tax law
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, or Oracle Financials)
- Experience in preparing financial statements, audits, and project-related financial management
- Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Experience with project financing and managing large-scale infrastructure project finances
- Prior experience working with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contracts or Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects
- Familiarity with international accounting standards (IFRS) is an advantage
- Expertise in handling project audits and liaising with regulatory authorities
Eligibility Criteria:- CA Qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the infrastructure, construction, or real estate industry
