What to expect from the role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Channel Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding our channel partner network, driving sales growth, and ensuring effective distribution of our products and services in the assigned regions. The role demands a strategic thinker with excellent relationship management skills and a deep understanding of the sales ecosystem.
Location: Bangalore or Mumbai (India)
Travel Requirement: Willing to travel within India & Middle East as & when required
How will your day look like at Bureau
- Channel Development and Management: Identify, onboard, and manage channel partners to ensure optimal market coverage and sales performance.Develop and implement channel sales strategies to achieve sales targets and business growth.Conduct regular training sessions for channel partners to keep them updated on product offerings and sales techniques.
- Channel Partner Planning and Execution: Create and execute channel business plans and strategies to achieve business objectives.Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and adjust strategies as necessary. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop channel-specific marketing campaigns and promotional activities. Build strong relationships across your key partner stakeholders to strengthen the partnership. Report channel metrics and progress to regional channel and sales leadership
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including channel partners, distributors, and end customers.Act as the main point of contact for channel partners, addressing their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
- Market Expansion:Identify new business opportunities and potential markets for expansion within the assigned region.Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
- Reporting and Analysis:Prepare regular reports on channel partner performance, market trends, and channel partner activities.Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:Work closely with internal teams, including product management, marketing, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies. Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products to channel partners.
What does it take to be in this role
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- 5-8 years of experience in channel sales management, preferably in the B2B SaaS sector..
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth through channel partners.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Hard working, self-driven and highly motivated individual with great team spirit
- Strong knowledge of Identity, fraud, risk/compliance & Security market.
- Willingness to travel within India & to the Middle East as required.
