Job Overview
We are seeking a Certified Tower Technician to join our team in various locations across Kerala, including Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur, Wayanad, and Kasaragod. This is a junior-level position requiring a maximum of 3 years of experience. The role is full-time and offered on a contract-to-hire or contract basis.
Qualifications And Skills
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations related to tower climbing and working at height.
- Experience in rigging and installing telecommunications towers.
- Ability to perform tower erection and work efficiently with tower cranes.
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to undertake physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at significant heights.
- Effective communication skills for better coordination with team members and supervisors.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Ascend and descend telecommunications towers to install and repair equipment.
- Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and company protocols.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of tower components.
- Assist in the erection and dismantling of telecommunications towers.
- Coordinate with team members to execute projects efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare necessary documentation for completed tasks and report any issues.
- Utilize rigging equipment to hoist materials and equipment to tower locations.
- Maintain tools and machinery in proper working condition to ensure project success.
