Job Title: Chef de Partie (CDP)-International
- Location: Neitherland, Southafrica
We are looking for a skilled Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The CDP will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Food Preparation and Cooking:
Prepare and cook dishes according to the menu and recipes provided.
Ensure high quality and consistency in food preparation and presentation.
Station Management:
Manage a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, saut, pastry) as assigned by the Head Chef.
Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely food production.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to maintain a harmonious and efficient working environment.
Assist and support junior kitchen staff as needed.
Food Safety and Hygiene:
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards and regulations.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
Menu Development:
Contribute to menu planning and development under the guidance of the Head Chef.
Suggest new dishes and improvements to existing recipes.
Inventory Management:
Assist in monitoring and controlling inventory levels and food costs.
Notify the Head Chef of any shortages or discrepancies in stock.
Training and Development:
Mentor and train junior kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and kitchen procedures.
