- Job Summary: The Chef de Partie (CDP) will oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your assigned section.- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes, and developing dishes.
Ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation are maintained.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring they follow proper procedures and standards.
Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure efficient operation of your section.- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
- Assist in developing and implementing new menu items and specials.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and used safely.
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.- Strong communication and leadership skills.
