Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CCTV Technician to join our team. As a CCTV Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems. Your expertise in telecommunication, computer hardware, and system design will be essential in ensuring the effective operation of CCTV systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure CCTV systems according to specifications
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of CCTV equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in CCTV systems
- Collaborate with team members to develop system designs and schematics
- Test and evaluate new CCTV technologies and equipment
- Provide technical support to clients regarding CCTV system operation
- Keep accurate records of work performed and equipment inventory
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while working on-site
Requirements:
- Proficient in telecommunication and computer hardware
- Strong knowledge of CCTV systems and their components
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and system designs
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's licence
