Their responsibilities may include:
- Installation: Configuring and installing CCTV cameras, DVRs, and other equipment. They may also install access control solutions.
Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance checks and servicing, especially in the construction sector. They may also upgrade existing systems.- Troubleshooting: Finding and fixing faults in equipment, such as cameras, DVRs, NVRs, computers, and peripherals. They may also provide technical support to users for software and hardware issues.
Testing: Conducting tests to ensure the system is working properly.
- Paperwork: Completing service sheets and other necessary paperwork.
Safety: Maintaining health and safety standards for the equipment and company work.- Collaboration: Working with other technicians and engineers to ensure the systems run smoothly. They may also establish working relationships with vendors and contractors.
Records: Keeping accurate records of all work performed.
