We are looking for a Security Systems Installation Technician to install and maintain CCTV, burglar alarms, fire alarms, and biometric systems. Your role will involve setting up these systems, ensuring they function correctly, and providing training to clients. You should have experience with security systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently. Knowledge of safety regulations and certifications in security system installation are preferred.
Installing CCTV systems, ensuring proper placement and functionality according to client specifications. Setting up burglar alarms and configuring them to detect unauthorized entry effectively.
Installing fire alarm systems and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards. Installing biometric access control systems, configuring fingerprint or other biometric readers for secure access.
Conducting thorough testing and troubleshooting of installed systems to identify and resolve any issues. Providing training to clients on the use and maintenance of installed security systems.
Maintaining accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Collaborating with clients and other stakeholders to understand security needs and provide suitable solutions. Requirements:
Proven experience as a Security Systems Installation Technician or similar role. Proficiency in installing and configuring CCTV, burglar alarm, fire alarm, and biometric systems.
Strong understanding of security system components and their functionality. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
Physical ability to lift and move equipment and work in various environmental conditions. Preferred Qualifications: Certification or training in security systems installation or related fields.
Knowledge of local safety regulations and codes. Experience with different brands and types of security equipmen
