As a CCTV Technician, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems for our clients. Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, including cameras, monitors, recording equipment, and networking components.
Conduct site surveys to assess security needs and determine the most effective placement of CCTV equipment.- Program and integrate CCTV systems with other security systems, such as access control and alarms, to provide comprehensive security solutions.
Troubleshoot technical issues with CCTV equipment, including diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of CCTV systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Provide training and support to clients on the operation and maintenance of CCTV systems.- Keep abreast of industry trends, advancements, and best practices in CCTV technology.
Requirements:- Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or similar role.
Proficiency in installing and configuring CCTV equipment and software.
- Strong understanding of networking principles and IP-based CCTV systems.
Familiarity with different types of CCTV cameras, lenses, and accessories.- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCTV Installation Certification) are a plus.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
