Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled CATIA resource with expertise in macros to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our design and engineering projects using CATIA software, focusing on creating and optimizing macros for automation and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Must have worked in a Dassault Systems environment, specifically CATIA V5.

Experience with VBA scripting and WinAPI is required.

Ability to work independently: Involved in requirement gathering, technical analysis, development, testing, delivery, and support.

Ability to interpret client requests and convert them into actionable technical plans.

Proficiency in automating tasks using macros.

Ability to present proof-of-concept solutions using PowerPoint or video formats.

Able to prepare project plans and adhere to timelines with high quality.

Prior experience in automating electrical drawings is considered an additional benefit.

Ability to automate 3D models, especially in automobile drawings.

Proficiency in 3D modelling (Part Design, Surface Design).

Integration of Python code with CATIA V5.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience with CATIA software, specifically in macro development.

Strong proficiency in VBScript or C# scripting languages for CATIA macros.

Ability to analyze complex engineering problems and propose efficient CATIA solutions.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Experience in the automotive or aerospace industries preferred.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

Knowledge of CAD modelling and design principles.

Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems and their integration with CATIA.

Certification in CATIA V5/V6 or related software.

Note: Candidate should be capable of developing and testing their code as required.
