Job Description
Qualification : BE / B Tech / M Tech mechanical / automotive Lead team of 5 to 10 engineers
- 3D CAD concept generation for Automotive interior parts (IP, DP, CC, Exterior)
- Complete 2D CAD detailing of interior trim parts
- Interface modelling and implementation
- Assembly and layout preparation as per program requirement
- Checking for tooling and manufacturing feasibility
- Class A surface check and feedback
- Need to follow product standards and guidelines
- Customer constraints and specifications.
- Applicable regulations and legislation
- Ensure process feasibility of the product design and A-Surfaces
- Implementation of RPS, GD&T
- Part Checking for kinematic and clash analysis.
General Competencies
- Knowledge of interior plastics trim parts
- Knowledge of plastic manufacturing and part tooling requirements

- Working experience in CATIA V5.
- Knowledge of interior trim parts.
- Knowledge of plastic design and modelling.
- Knowledge of materials used in interior trim parts
- Experience in concept and master section generation
- Knowledge of RPS, GD&T and Perceived Quality
- Basic knowledge of DFMEA
- Knowledge of DFA and DFM
- PC Literacy: Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc.
