Key Responsibilities of a Category Management Executive/Sr. Executive -
Brand Coordination for Daily Operations:
- Coordination of daily brand activities to ensure alignment with overall brand strategy. For example, queries related to POs, inwarding inventory, pricing, catalog updates, monthly pricing and deals, banner and creative requirements, etc.
- Work closely with various departments to ensure the smooth execution of brand initiatives.
Execute Pricing:
- Implement pricing in line with market conditions and company objectives. Carry out price matches daily and intimate brands daily.
- Monitor and adjust pricing to stay competitive and meet revenue goals.
Catalog Quality Control (QC):
- Ensure the product catalog is accurate, up-to-date, and meets quality standards. Coordinate with brands to update the same.
- Regularly quality check on product listings for consistency in descriptions, images, and other content.
Brand Communications:
- Communicate with brands on various fronts as required. For example, new plans, activities, strategies, monthly event calendars, platform-level initiatives, etc.
Assist in Monthly Events:
- Support the planning and execution of monthly promotional events and campaigns. Plugin brands and their details on the visibility calendar.
- Coordinate with the brand to ensure successful event outcomes. Meet the requirements of creatives, banners, deals, callouts, etc.
Monitor Inventory:
- Track inventory levels and highlight brands to ensure product availability and avoid stockouts.
- Collaborate with purchase and logistics teams to inward inventory efficiently.
