Job Description
Business ResponsibilitiesResponsible for managing global/regional suppliers for specific material field (Mentorships)
Negotiation of global/regional contracts for mentored suppliers/Negotiation of global projects
Ensure that price development targets are met for the assigned (sub) material field
Actively engage with Internal customer and Category manger for defining strategies
Prepare Sub-material field strategy for Global suppliers
Delivery ResponsibilitiesConduct RFQ process as defined IT services
Ensure timely renewal of contracts
Support for issues related to contracting
Adherence to project lead times
Managerial and Governance ResponsibilitiesIncrease contract coverage & ensure contract compliance
Ensure compliant processes
Drive Process improvements
Ensuring a robust measurement, reporting and execution system

Desired ExperienceMinimum 5 10 years experience in Purchase, 2 3 years in relevant area of Indirect purchase
Exposure to international working environments will be advantage

Functional Skills/CompetenciesAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, charts, graphs, etc.)
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to partner with other functions/suppliers and foster teamwork.
Strong self-motivation to achieve cost reduction targets
Positive attitude
Know how of the market in terms of varying portfolio of HW and Data center products
Market know how of costing of resources for varied skill set and experience levels in IT services, various models of outsourcing
Awareness and tracking of the market environment and dynamics for the respective material field
Networking with various stake holders.
Legal and contracting know how
Advanced negotiation techniques
Familiar with international working environment
Basic project management skills
