Why Is the Role Important

The Category Associate - Public Speaking role is crucial for bridging the gap between potential customers and our program offerings. As a specialised member of the team, you will focus on the Public Speaking category, working closely with the Category Manager to refine, improve, and promote our programs. You will also play a key role in engaging leads, booking trial sessions, and ensuring that parents and students receive the best experience from their first interaction with us.

What Is the Role

As a Category Associate - Public Speaking, you will be responsible for a blend of program support and pre-sales engagement. Your responsibilities include:

Category Support:

• Program Design Assistance: Work alongside the Category Manager to assist in refining and improving the Public Speaking curriculum, including testing and creating new learning tools and resources.
• Program Improvement: Gather feedback from trial classes and initial sessions to identify areas of improvement in the curriculum.
• Resource Development: Assist in designing learning tools and materials that enhance the Public Speaking program experience for students.
• Data Tracking: Track and analyse data related to student engagement and progress to provide actionable insights for program improvement.

Pre-Sales & Lead Engagement:

• Lead Engagement: Be the first point of contact for parents interested in Public Speaking programs and actively connect with them through calls and messages.
• Qualitative Conversations: Conduct meaningful discussions with parents to understand their needs, answer questions, and introduce them to our Public Speaking programs.
• Trial Bookings: Convert leads into trial bookings for Public Speaking sessions and facilitate a smooth transition into regular classes.
• Lead Assessment: Evaluate the quality of leads and provide feedback to the Marketing team for improved lead generation.

Who Is the Ideal Candidate

• Qualifications: Fresh graduates with a degree in Communication, Business, Education, or related fields.
• Skills Required:
• Strong interest in Public Speaking and communication.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage relationships with parents and students.
• Analytical mindset to assess program feedback and make data-driven recommendations.

Experience: Prior experience in customer-facing roles like internships or part-time work in education, sales, or telemarketing is a bonus but not mandatory.
