We are looking for a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team at our restaurant in Salem. The ideal candidate will handle customer transactions, provide excellent service, and maintain accurate cash handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and process their orders.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions using the restaurant's POS system.
- Provide receipts, refunds, and exchanges as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding menu items and promotions.
- Assist with minor tasks during non-peak hours (e.g., helping in food service or cleaning).
- Ensure all transactions are accurate and the cash register is balanced at the end of shifts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math and cash handling skills.
- Previous experience as a cashier (preferred but not mandatory).
