Job Summary
:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced
Cashier
to join our Bar & Restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling daily cash transactions, managing liquor inventory, and maintaining financial accuracy. The Cashier will work closely with the Bar and Restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
:
- Cash Handling:
- Manage daily cash transactions including accepting payments (cash, card, digital wallets, etc.) for food and drinks.
- Maintain an accurate cash register and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
- Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift, ensuring all amounts are correct and properly documented.
- Prepare daily cash and sales reports.
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee liquor inventory, including monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies to the Manager.
- Assist in receiving liquor deliveries, checking accuracy, and ensuring proper storage.
- Perform periodic stock audits to ensure inventory control.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring quick and accurate billing.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and requests related to payments in a professional and courteous manner.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of all sales, cash transactions, and inventory levels.
- Assist in generating financial reports as required by management.
- Compliance:
- Ensure all transactions comply with local laws and regulations regarding the sale of alcohol.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for handling cash and inventory.
- Collaboration:
- Coordinate with the bar, kitchen, and service staff to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to the Manager promptly.
- Other Duties:
- Assist in general administrative duties as required.
- Help with closing procedures, including securing the cash register and inventory areas.
### Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cashier, preferably in a Bar/Restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong understanding of cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Basic knowledge of liquor inventory management.
- Good math and accounting skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Trustworthy, reliable, and capable of working independently.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in hospitality or related field is a plus.

- Shift-based work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of inventory items.
