We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 0-0 years of experience in the job market context of India.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they approach the cash register and process their orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate cash registers and other equipment to facilitate the sale of merchandise, food, and other products
- Calculate and total purchases, receive and process payments, and issue receipts for transactions
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and ensure that all cash and credit transactions are properly recorded
- Answer customers questions and provide information on store policies, products, and promotions
- Assist in the stocking and replenishing of merchandise on the sales floor
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the cash register and surrounding areas
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
