Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in the loading and unloading of cargo.
• Ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods in and out of the facility.
• Ensure that all cargo is properly labeled and packaged before being shipped.
• Ensure that all cargo is properly loaded and secured on trucks and other transportation vehicles.
• Inspect cargo to ensure that it is not damaged or otherwise compromised during transportation.
• Maintain accurate records of all cargo shipments.
• Ensure that all workers are following safety procedures and using the proper equipment.

Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-1 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of proper cargo handling procedures.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
• Proficiency in using computer software programs such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
