Description
We are looking for a Cargo Incharge to oversee the day-to-day operations of our cargo warehouse. The ideal candidate should have 0-1 years of experience in the job market context of India and should possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Managing the receipt, storage, and delivery of cargo in the warehouse
- Ensuring that all cargo is properly labeled, packaged, and stored according to safety standards
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure timely delivery of cargo
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and reports
- Supervising a team of warehouse staff and ensuring that they are properly trained and motivated
- Ensuring that all equipment and machinery is properly maintained and serviced
- Implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures
Skills and Qualifications
- 0-1 years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and software
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
