Job Overview:
GoldenBee Global School is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to serve as a Career Guidance Counselor cum International Partnership Manager. This role is essential in providing students with career counseling and establishing and managing international partnerships that enhance the school's global reach and student opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Career Guidance Counselor:
- Career Counseling:
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students regarding career choices, educational paths, and personal development.
- Assist students in identifying their strengths, interests, and values to guide them in their career planning.
- Conduct workshops and seminars on various career-related topics.
- Educational Planning:
- Guide students through the process of choosing appropriate courses and academic paths that align with their career goals.
- Assist students with college applications, including essay writing, interview preparation, and selection of suitable universities.
- Resource Management:
- Develop and maintain a resource center with information on colleges, careers, scholarships, and other opportunities.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and opportunities in education and career development.
International Partnership Manager:
- Partnership Development:
- Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with international educational institutions, organizations, and agencies.
- Negotiate partnership agreements and collaborations that benefit the school and its students.
- Program Management:
- Coordinate international exchange programs, study abroad opportunities, and internships for students.
- Manage international student admissions and ensure a smooth transition for incoming students.
- Events and Communications:
- Organize international events, such as cultural exchange programs, international fairs, and guest lectures.
- Communicate effectively with international partners and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in career counseling and/or international partnership management.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
