Career Coach

Role Summary :-

At Upgrad We intend to create a powerful Coaching Unit that can assist prospective learners to get complete career clarity before they select a particular upGrad program for themselves. The coaches would work with the Admission Counselors to coach prospective learners at a 1-1 level and help them make the best career decisions.

Roles & Responsibilities -

Coach learners using online platforms/phone calls as per the schedule based on scheduled sessions

Help Prospective learners get clarity about their career path using powerful career coaching techniques and tools

Counsel potential learners on program related queries Speak to potential Learners( collaborate with the sales team) and help solve their career-related doubts to drive the enrolment of new learners

Collaborate with the Admission counselling team to help follow up with Prospective learners to drive enrolment

This role would involve Enrolment targets which the coach has to achieve in collaboration with the admissions counsellors

Preferred Candidate background /Skill Areas

Minimum Qualification( Bachelors- Any Field); 5+ years experience

Consultative Selling experience in high value product/service Edtech/Financial Services/Any B2B domain

Experience in 1-1 Coaching/1-1 Career Counseling

Experiences in Soft Skills Training/Technical Training/Sales Training

Candidates with certifications in coaching/counseling/training in the undergraduate/university level admissions

Other Key Competencies required

Should be able to reflect active listening skill

Should be a very fluent communicator

Should be able to empathize with the learner and reflect non-judgemental approach

Should be able to articulate/speak simple and clean language while speaking Should have good quality of voice (soothing) and should be able to do voice modulation

Should be able to focus and possess good observation skill

Always curious to know/learn more and have an interrogative mind

Should posses ability to motivate and build rapport

Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment

6 day work week + rotational shifts
