Description
We are seeking a Cardiac Anesthesia Technician with 0-5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in anesthesia techniques, have a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist anesthesiologists in the administration of anesthesia during cardiac procedures
- Monitor patient's vital signs during anesthesia and alert the anesthesiologist if any issues arise
- Ensure that all equipment is properly sterilized and maintained
- Assist in the insertion of invasive monitoring lines and arterial lines
- Assist in the placement of invasive monitoring devices such as pulmonary artery catheters
- Manage patient airways during intubation and extubation
- Administer medications as directed by the anesthesiologist
- Assist in the transport of patients to and from the operating room
Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Anesthesia Technology or related field
- 0-5 years of experience as a Cardiac Anesthesia Technician
- Knowledge of anesthesia techniques and equipment
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment

- Good physical stamina and dexterity
