An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Cardiac Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work as part of the Integrated Team in Caithness delivering cardiology care to patients within the area.
We are looking for a motivated individual with relevant experience working in Heart Failure and Cardiac Rehab, but further training in specific areas of clinical nursing care and skills will be available. This is also an opportunity to help develop ongoing cardiology care within the area as part of the ongoing Caithness Redesign of Healthcare Services.
The role involves specialist clinical nursing skills to support patients and carers to live a full life after a cardiac event and support them back into the normal activities. You must be able to demonstrate continued professional development in this area and be willing to continue to develop the service as part of the wider team. You will have good communication, time management and organisational skills to allow you to manage a caseload and work with the wider multi-disciplinary team. You will need to have the ability to work alone and on your own initiative, but still be a team player. You must be adaptable, self-motivated and able to respond to the challenges this role will provide.
A driving licence is essential for this post and applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes.
This is a permanent part-time post of 22.3 hours worked as per service requirements.
