Captain / Assistant Captain Restaurant

Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Captain / Assistant Captain Restaurant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the hospitality industry and should be well-versed in restaurant operations and customer service. The candidate should have a customer-centric attitude and should possess excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating all front-of-house activities
• Ensuring that all guests are greeted and seated in a timely and courteous manner
• Ensuring that all tables are set up correctly and that the restaurant is clean and presentable
• Taking orders and serving food and drinks to guests
• Providing excellent customer service and addressing any guest complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Managing reservations and ensuring that all reservations are properly recorded and communicated to the kitchen
• Coordinating with the kitchen staff to ensure that food is prepared and served correctly and in a timely manner
• Ensuring that all cash handling procedures are followed and that all sales are recorded accurately
• Assisting with the training and development of new staff members
• Performing other duties as assigned by management

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the hospitality industry
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Customer-centric attitude and a passion for providing excellent customer service
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, cash handling, and reservation management
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field (preferred)
