Responsibilities
- Develop Cloud security controls for multi-cloud environments.
- Assess and understand the company's current security posture and providing a viable solution path to bridge the gap.
- Ensure the cloud environments are in comply with industry best practices and standard security benchmarks.
- Support & maintain Cloud Security tools:
- Monitor and analysis of alerts generated from cloud security tools.
- Follow-up with internal stake holders to address the identified gaps.
- Suggest new functionality or feature enhancement.
- Get the alerts addressed within the SLA.
- Automation of alerts prioritization, false positives identification, correlation, vulnerability remediation within SLA.
- Managing ticket to ensure issues are recorded, tracked, resolved, and follow-ups are done in a timely manner.
- Follow and comply with the organization standards and policies.
- Stay current with industry trends, cloud attacks & breaches, zero-day exploit and making recommendations as needed to help the organization's cloud environment secure.
- Strong Knowledge and understanding of security event logging systems.
- Take part in post incident reviews and propose engineering resolution to improve results in any future recurrence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or relateddiscipline or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in the Cloud Security domain. Overall 10+ years of experience.
- Understanding of and experience with at least 2 cloud platforms with architecting, designing,developing, and implementing cloud solutions in multi-cloud environment.
- Experience of Cloud Security Tools (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Centre).
- Proven ability to collaborative with multi-disciplinary teams of business analysts, cloud vendors, architects, and subject matter experts.
- The ability to pick up and learn new technology and make rapid decisions on the best way to use these technology advancements for the betterment of the overall security posture.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace.
- Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before theyaffect business productivity.
- AWS or Azure security certification is preferable.
