About Project Abhay:

Project Abhay is conceptualised by IIT Delhi along with Foresight Society of HRD and submitted to the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MORTH). The project is for addressing the issues of truck drivers with regard to Vision & Wellbeing to promote road safety and safer highways. The project was awarded to IIT Delhi by MORTH having Foresight Society of HRD as Implementing Partner. It is Catering and screening 50,000 truck drivers in 6 states namely Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu.

Under the said Project, the team has set up multiple camps across different cities in the respective states where the truck drivers are taken through multiple health checkups, vision tests, social security mapping and various workshops for health and awareness.

Role and Responsibilities:

Project Abhay is seeking three paid tele-callers to handle post project review data collection for three months (can be extended for 3 more months) starting 20th June. The primary role of the candidates would be:

1. Calling- This is a full-time on-site internship role for a Telecaller at Project Abhay. The Telecallers will document the feedback from the drivers who visited Camp through outgoing calls.

2. Recording and Documentation- On regular basis Telecaller to connect with Technical Agencies and record camp related feedbacks from Camp Team Members. Documenting project intervention related aspects.

3. Providing Feedback- Based on interactions with Camp Team Members and Drivers; Telecallers to provide feedback to the Central Project Team.

Qualifications:

1. Must be fluent in Hindi language.

2. Minimum one-year of relevant work experience

3. Should be available to start work from 20th June

4. Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills

5. Ability to work with minimal supervision

6. Attention to detail and accuracy

7. Proficient in the use of computer software including Microsoft Excel

8. Bachelor's degree in any field.
