Job Title: Calibration Engineer-Contingent
Description: Calibration engineer is responsible for onsite calibration for the test & measurement units depending on customer needs.
Responsibility:
- Supporting calibration at customer site.
- Calibration of various instruments and making the adjustments to address any out of tolerance units
- Understand and apply principles and techniques of Uncertainty Measurement to perform 17025 accredited calibrations when requested, within the labs scope of accreditation
- Perform manual and automated calibration, adjustments of Test &
Measurement electronic equipment at our customer's sites
- Provides internal and external customer satisfaction through effective communication, innovation, and direct application of technical skills
Qualification: Diploma /engineering graduates
(electrical/electronic/instrumentation).
Required Competencies: 1. Good Knowledge about ISO17025:2017
- High customer focus with service quality and delivery efficiency, with good communication skills is essential for this role.
- Experience and exposure to calibration of the instruments such as oscilloscope, multi-function calibrators, signal generators, spectrum analyzer/network analyzer, power supplies, familiarity with various categories of calibration is needed.
- Hands-on experience with multi-vendor instruments repair is a plus.
- Strong Team player to work in the
Calibration Lab. Must be a motivated, self-starter who can meet internal as well
as external customer's needs in our full service calibration facility
- Experience in Calibrating and Maintaining equipment.
Minimum Years of experience required: 1-3 years of electrical/electronic test & measurement calibration experience.
