Job Description: Cafe Waitress/Steward in ChennaiAs a cafe waitress or steward in Chennai, your primary responsibilities will be to provide excellent customer service and ensure a smooth dining experience for guests. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to deliver food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
Take customer orders and communicate them accurately to the kitchen
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner
Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or requests promptly
Assist kitchen staff as needed
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance at all time
1-2 years of experience as a waitress or steward in a cafe or restaurant setting
- Strong communication skills in English and the local language (Tamil)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
Knowledge of food and beverage offerings and the ability to make recommendations to customers
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
