Job Description
Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors the production plan of the complete production cycle. Works from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements. Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules. Works to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions. Oversees the schedule and ensures comprehensive compliance with materials requirements for manufacturing, to ensure the on-time completion of the manufacturing on 3rd party manufacturing panel shop.
Key Responsibilities
. Develop, implement and manage production plans and priorities according to project schedule, material availability and 3rd party manufacturing vender's capacity.
. Setup or Coordinate manufacturing Kick-off meeting with LFS project manager and 3rd party manufacturing vender.
. Assist the project handover and completion between project teams and 3rd party manufacturing venders.
. Set up weekly production status review meeting with PM team and 3rd party manufacturing venders.
. Weekly review material shortage report and drive actions required to meet production schedule.
. Weekly check the compliance status, make sure the PnP data entry accurate and timely.
. Analyze and determine root causes for on time misses and take actions to improve performance.
. Get prepared and join Monthly SIOP service performance review meeting.
. Maintain a collaborative relationship between project team and 3rd party manufacturing venders.
. Demonstrates accountability for completing work assignments meets commitments and deadlines.
Educational Qualifications / Work Experience:
. Bachelor of Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or equivalent degree or education.
. Command of the English Language - oral and written, preferred 3+ years of experience in a multi-national company
. Minimum 2 years of experience in Production planning, Manufacturing Support, Operations, or similar support role in a project-oriented environment.
. Minimum: Advanced manufacturing systems/ planning knowledge - ERP experience. Preferred 2+ years of experience with SAP, IFS or similar ERP.
. Intermediate to advanced experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and outlook.
. Knowledge of ETO/Engineered to Order manufacturing processes.
. Experience in working with remote teams effectively with excellent communication skill.
. Quickly adapt to change in processes, product, and job functions.
. Evidence of analytical aptitude.
. Technical and commercial experience with a degree of vender interaction
. Possess a high sense of urgency to effectively address problems or gaps identified.
. Process driven, executes according to a defined method.
. Be able to interact with several roles to effectively solve some problems. This role can be the conduit between the manufacturing vender and our offsite PM, supply chain, logistics, and engineering.
. APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification desired
Rockwell Automation's hybrid policy aligns that employees are expected to work at a Rockwell location at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays unless they have a business obligation out of the office.
