Key Deliverables (Essential functions & Responsibilities of the Job):
- Drive product strategy by supporting Buyer for managing end-to-end product lifecycle.
- Seasonal and top-up order closures in sync with the Buyer for international orders.
- Seasonal and top-up order closures in sync with the Buyer, designer and Sourcing team for domestic orders.
- Review sales patterns and share product feedback with stakeholders for new product development, Top-up orders and/or preponing deliveries.
- Margin Negotiation with the sourcing team for localized lines.
- Analyze seasonal product performance, provide lessons learnt for every season and action points for the upcoming season,
- Study WGSN trends, Runways along Competition to give trend feedback.
- Manage Fulfilment tracking for every Season Launch including, but not limited to, key Marketing/window lines.
- Manage Visual Sell Thru Review Product Lifecycle and give feedback to trader and Buyer.
- Analyze sales to provide insights and proposals for driving future sales to Merchandisers and Traders.
- Ensuring effective two-way communication with SCM and Sourcing team for Order Tracking of import and domestic orders.
- Market visits for identifying Product gaps and competition analysis.
- Effective Coordination with cross-functional teams to drive Menswear business- Retail, Ecommerce, Marketing and VM.
- Exploit new systems and processes to optimize business.
- Product data enrichment in the central documents for data hygiene which can be used for further analysis.
Key Requirement:
- Operating Plan for Department.
- Product selection from Marks and Spencer global catalogue that captures trend, volume and key drivers.
- Local product development to address local requirements, gaps in the offer and margin opportunity.
- Flow and phasing planning.
- Product bought to plan.
- Product delivered to the critical path.
- Managing the catalogue plan.
- Plan to develop a shorter lead time product in season.
- Develop value fashion for tier 2 markets.
- Work with VM and Marketing to deliver and highlight the look.
- Maximize product opportunity in peak selling e.g. gifting in.
