Own overall category- RA (Range architecture) and assortment plan for each channel
Manage category and option DOH (Days On Hand), Bestseller availability, stock-turn
Drive category revenue and GM plan with (along with sales team) at channel-category level
Job Description
- Understand global and regional fashion trends to gather inputs to creating a commercial buying strategy.
- Ownership of merchandise calendar- decide monthly product road map, key bets, merchandise- stories/trends.
- Work closely with buying and sourcing teams to identify sourcing vendors and supplier base.
- Provide inputs to the sourcing team to source based on trends, seasonality and target pricing.
- Deep knowledge about fashion product costing and reverse engineering products
Must have:
- Strong knowledge and interest in menswear category
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Prior experience in buying for online & offline menswear brands shall be preferred
- Comfort and ability to work with cross-cultural teams across time-zones
