We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Business Development Senior Manager with 10 years experience. You will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and expand our client base. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients and partners, to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a complete understanding of travel sales, and business development and must have previously managed overseas agents.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Job Requirements
Corporate Travel
- Responsible for establishing medium to long-term plans and setting appropriate contingency measures to secure the region's long term positioning, profitability and image based on a thorough evaluation of the India market (competitors, suppliers, customers, products and external influences).
- Responsible for establishing business objectives and achieving departments sales targets in line with Top Managements expectations.
- Build and lead sales teams to achieve market based goals, market share, revenue levels, cost reductions, and/or operational efficiency.
- Actively lead and provide direction to the team in ensuring revenue targets are realized at all levels of business and that overall profitability objectives are achieved through efficient and effective working practices.
- Manage and develop relationships with key clientele, airlines, vendors, suppliers, government authorities and other service providers, forging relationships that support & promote the business purpose, image, products and profitability in the market.
- Accountability of annual budget for business revenue and expense forecast. Ensure cost effectiveness is achieved in all areas of the business through the efficient utilization and deployment of resources and through effective working practices and policies.
- Establish a company's pricing strategy in liaison with Corporate Management. Creatively maneuver within the established pricing framework making tactical decisions to enhance market share and generating additional revenue where opportunities arise.
- Based on the market, customer preferences and management expectations develop creative initiatives to promote principle products and services to maximize the business presence and impact.
- Responsible for creating a culture of service excellence amongst the team; utilizing periodical service audits, and employing appropriate, efficient service recovery measures where necessary.
- Responsible for ensuring all units are prepared, equipped and staff trained to achieve targets in line with the companys imbibed strategy.
- Ensure that necessary operational interfaces are developed to reduce operating costs and promote efficiency.
- Employ expert team leadership, mentoring and coaching techniques to appropriately manage a culturally diverse workforce in a high-pressure and challenging environment.
Customer Centric
- Client relationship management, customize services to suit client / customer requirements.
- Develop key performance indicators and service level agreements with clients in association with the HR & Admin Department.
- Conceptualize and implement customer feedback systems, which would result in sustained focus on customer satisfaction and expectations.
- Recommend service levels, key performance indicators and work closely with legal departments during the drafting process of the contract and ensure that adequate quality and technical proficiency.
Efficiency & Productivity
- Manage and Direct all activities of the Profit Center in conjunction with Top Mgt. Team.
- Help achieve maximum profitability, project quality, and profit/sales/revenue goals.
- Direct the sales effort to acquire and cultivate clients regularly.
- Develop and revise marketing and branding plans.
- Review proposals/reports of work in progress, cost and price analysis of each opportunity and understand the upside/downside risk.
- Preparation of budget, monitoring monthly budgeted cost. Weekly and monthly meeting with Department Heads, areas of improvement, cost reducing methods, expenditure compared to operating budget, service backlogs, etc.
- Reduction of operating costs & increasing productivity.
- Implement a model of multi-skilled natural work groups.
Requirements And Skills
University graduate in Business Discipline with minimum 10 years experience in the Airline / Hotel / Travel Industry of which a minimum of 5 years at a managerial level.
Strong general management and leadership skills, along with a well developed sense of commercial acumen.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Fluency in both written and spoken English.
Proven time management and organizational skills, ability to work efficiently on multi-tasks and opportunities.
Be an effective strategist and a dynamic business builder with strong conceptual, planning and implementation skills.
Must have extensive experience across a broad range of travel / airline related disciplines with an in-depth understanding of professional, governmental and legal compliance requirements at a local and international level, including minimum 5 years experience in heading Corporate Business Team of a Mid-Size / Large Travel Management company. Must be able to provide supporting evidence of previous performance and track record.
Must possess excellent People Management Skills with highly effective communication and negotiation skills.
Must have prior experience in travel agency product pricing, contract negotiation and must be familiar with the unique complexities associated with the industry and airline and customer requirements.
Must have a proven track record of strategic planning and budgeting and delivery.
Previous experience / awareness of the India market and airline and travel industries.
Must be able to increase revenue and acquire corporate business.
Languages known English, Hindi & Marathi.
Must have a passport.
