Documenting the requirements shared by the ERM team in a detailed manner so it can cover all possible flows of the use case.
- Detailed Analysis & probing of the requirement with the ERM or the end users to understand the from all aspects such as business benefit in terms of Cost Savings, Reducing Risk or Improving Efficiency of the end Users or Improving the Time taken to do the same activity/task in the current state.
- Coming up with Data Mapping documents for any data sourcing requirements
- Ability to capture the data transformation logic in a very detailed manner with examples/scenarios so the team can understand the requirement clearly and there is no scope for ambiguity
- Should be able to write complex SQL queries to query the data from the database or join multiple tables and retrieve the data for analysis or investigating issues in the data processing
- Should be able to create detailed flow diagrams/use case diagrams to explain all the possible flows of the system
- Should be able to do detailed analysis on the edge case scenarios and call out the deasired system behavior with the implementation team to make sure the future state system hanldes the errors gracefully
- Ability to write test cases and traceability matrices for tracking the delivery of all functional requirements or to ensure the expected system functionality is fully implemented.
- Should have the ability to guide and groom junior team members/freshmen/interns
- To drive consistent standards and approaches throughout the team, building an environment that encourages continuous improvement and innovation
