Position Overview
GRG School of Management is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as the Dean. Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership to the School of Management, setting strategic goals and ensuring alignment with the institution's mission.
- Oversee academic programs, curriculum development, and accreditation processes to maintain high academic standards.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive academic environment that promotes research, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Lead faculty recruitment, development, and evaluation, promoting professional growth and excellence in teaching and research.
- Collaborate with industry partners to enhance industry-academia relations, facilitating internships, placements, and collaborative research projects.
- Engage in fundraising activities to support academic initiatives, scholarships, and infrastructure development.
- Collaborate with other departments within the institution to promote cross-disciplinary collaboration and holistic student development.
- Represent the school at various forums, conferences, and events to enhance its reputation and visibility.
Qualifications
- A doctoral degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 15 years of academic experience with a strong record of research and publications.
- Significant academic leadership experience, preferably as a Dean or in a similar capacity.
- Strong record of scholarly achievements, research publications, and contributions to the field of management.
- Proven ability to inspire and lead a diverse faculty, fostering a culture of academic excellence and innovation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate accreditation processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with industry partners.
