As we expand our business, we are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Business Research Analyst to join our team. This role will play a critical part in guiding strategic decisions for our global operations, including market expansion, supply chain optimization, talent identification, and location analysis for new facilities.
Job Location:
- Ahmedabad (Siddhivinayak Towers, Makarba)
Shift Timings:
- 3 pm to 12 am
- Monday to Friday
- Work from office
Responsibilities:
The Business Research Analyst will be responsible for conducting in-depth research to assist in strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will be proactive in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that help shape the company's growth and operational strategies. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a curious mind, analytical rigor, and the ability to turn data into meaningful recommendations.
- Conduct comprehensive research on global markets, industry trends, and competitive landscape to support strategic planning and business development.
- Analyze data to identify optimal locations for warehousing, manufacturing, and other operational facilities, considering factors such as economical-political situations, logistics, costs, labor market, and proximity to key customers or suppliers.
- Develop reports and presentations to effectively communicate research findings and strategic insights to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Supply Chain, Finance) to understand business needs and provide tailored research solutions.
- Stay up to date on economic, political, and industry developments that could impact the company's operations and supply chain.
- Assist in evaluating new business opportunities, partnerships, talent and investments through data-driven research and market analysis.
- Utilize a variety of research methodologies including primary data collection, secondary data analysis, market surveys, and statistical modeling to provide high-quality insights.
- Manage multiple research projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Statistics, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in business research, market analysis, or strategic planning (2-5 years of relevant experience).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings clearly.
- Familiarity/Proficiency with research tools, data analytics software (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau), and market research databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to deliver insights in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of the building products industry or manufacturing sector.
- Experience with global market research and supply chain optimization.
- Familiarity with economic and political factors influencing international business operations
