We're looking for a Business Relationship Manager who will support the North India strategy. This is a full-time permanent role and is reporting directly to the Head of Education Partner Relationships (North, East & West) This role is expected to be supported from Delhi ACCA office.
The role will be responsible for delivering agreed business development targets, supporting the delivery of India growth aspirations.
The Job
Reporting to the Head of Education Partner Relationships- North, East & West India, on a day-to-day basis, you'll be involved in the following:
- For the development and execution of business development strategies to achieve market plans and targets that deliver growth in students, affiliates and members, develop partner relationships and extend ACCA's brand reputation with learning partners, universities or employers, positioning ACCA as the qualification of choice in India
- Will contribute to the delivery of the strategy in their region for their stakeholder group (learning partners, universities). They will manage designated stakeholders in their region. The role will be responsible for prioritising stakeholders, putting in place clear partner engagement plans and providing regular reports on activity against plans and targets
- Understand and contribute towards the regional learning partner/ universities strategy and business plan, with a specific focus on growth of students, affiliates and members
- Create and implement partner engagement plans in order to deliver personal business development targets and maintain positive and mutually beneficial relationships over time
- Hold high quality conversations with partners to understand their business needs and match them to ACCA's products and services
- Promote the value of the ACCA qualification to partners in order to build ACCA's reputation and influence and support sustainable student recruitment, progression, and conversion to membership.
- Participate in the co-ordination and management of partner events in order to build ACCA's reputation and influence in the market
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, marketing activity and services that will support the achievement of ACCA's growth aspirations in India
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify opportunities to further develop ACCA's proposition and offering within the region
- Support students at learning partners/ universities with registrations, counselling and guidance on ACCA processes and access in India
- Maintain accurate records and report regularly on progress through agreed reporting mechanisms.
The Person
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrable experience in business development, key account management and business-to-business relationship management, ideally in a professional service based environment Knowledge of sales, business development frameworks, processes and techniques.
- It is desirable to have a relevant post graduate or professional qualification relevant to the post.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build long term, high quality, trusted relationships.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and oral both in Hindi and in English
- Commercial orientation and results drive, with a track record of successful delivery and an ability to identify new opportunities
- High level of motivation, proactivity and enthusiasm
- Able to work independently, ability to plan, organise and prioritise work, to set stretching targets and meet strict deadlines within agreed budgets Integrity and professionalism in line with ACCA's values and mission.
