Business Relationship Manager

About your role:

Your role in the company is to expand the reach of CMIE's information services among News Editors, journalists, Revenue Planning & Strategyteams in Media sector. It will be your prime responsibility to identify and reach out to potential subscribers of CMIE's services and to solicit and generate business from them.

Your role entails identification of potential clients, reaching out to them, fixing meetings, conducting meetings, demonstrations and ensuring subscriptions to CMIE services.

Your role is that of a sales professional. And your objective is to grow the sector.

As a Business Relationship Manager you are required to build a strong relationship of trust and service with all market participants. You are expected to meet sales targets set for you.

About your job:

1. Create and regularly update a database of potential subscribers to CMIE's services in Media sector.

• Communicate regularly with prospective clients to generate interest in CMIE's services.
• Organize meetings to discuss sales and to conduct demonstrations of CMIE's services.
• Follow-up effectively with leads.
• Convert leads to business within reasonable time-frame.
• Maintain on-going relationship with all the existing clients.
• Database all activities related to sales and all client interactions.
• Meet sales targets.
• Train new and existing clients.
