Responsibilities:
Program Support: Assist in the coordination and administration of academic programs, including scheduling classes, managing course materials, and supporting faculty members with administrative tasks.
Student Services: Provide support to students regarding academic inquiries, course registration, graduation requirements, and other academic-related matters.
Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student enrollment, academic progress, and program statistics using institutional databases and software systems.
Administrative Assistance: Provide general administrative support to academic departments, including drafting correspondence, preparing reports, and organizing meetings and events.
Quality Assurance: Assist in monitoring the quality and effectiveness of academic programs through data analysis, student feedback, and participation in program evaluations.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with institutional policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements in all aspects of academic operations and program delivery.
Communication: Facilitate communication between academic departments, faculty members, students, and other stakeholders, ensuring timely dissemination of information and updates.
Resource Management: Assist in managing resources such as classroom facilities, instructional materials, and academic technologies to support teaching and learning activities.
Problem Solving: Identify issues and challenges related to academic operations and collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Professional Development: Stay informed about trends and best practices in academic operations and higher education administration through professional development activities and networking opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, business administration, or a related discipline).
Previous experience in academic administration, student services, or a related role is preferred but not required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management software.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
Demonstrated commitment to customer service, professionalism, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
