Role Overview:
The Mobility and Intelligent Transportation (Mint) is an initiative anchored at IIT Madras'sData Sciences and Artificial Intelligence Department, and will bring together Industry, Academia and Government to develop digital technologies that bring to life the Mobility Dreams of a Billion.
This initiative to develop digital public infrastructure for Mobility and Transportation as part of the India Digital Stack in the tradition of Aadhar, UPI, ONDC.
The Business Manager role is a critical role within the Mint Core Team reporting to the CEO and enables successful organization and execution of all business operations of the initiative.
This role has opportunities for sustained learning of key business skills in a start-up environment along with exposure to leadership at the C- Suite level within Industry, Departmental Secretaries within the Government and Academia from leading research universities across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:
A. Operations Management:
- Schedule, attend and prepare meeting minutes for all MInT Board, Technical Advisory Meetings
- Act as the event manager for end-to-end planning of international level summits and conferences.
- Manage MInT laboratory facility space to ensure comfortable and productive work environment.
B. Business Management:
- Manage the creation, vetting, and coordination of completion of membership contracts.
- Act as the event manager for end-to-end planning of MInT summits and conferences (domestic and international)
- Manage business partner information database for easy access to specific member information.
- Manage MInT Budget under the supervision of the CEO and assigned accounting partner.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding of MInT personnel working with leadership and Technical Projects Manager.
C. IT and Media Management:
- Manage the IT infrastructure (email, one drive, website), working with the IT partner.
- Coordinate creation of media content press releases, whitepapers and media content for MInT
- Manage MInT Social media handle.
Successful Candidate Profile:
A. Leadership and Abilities:
- The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual with a learning practical problem-solving mindset, and independent decision making.
- The Candidate should be able to work with senior level leaders from industry, government, and academia.
- The Candidate will have a working level of knowledge of organizing events, social media, managing people, and an understanding of basic accounting and budgets.

B. Education
- Degree in Public Relations, Business Administration, Communications
C. Experience
- 3 5 years with increasing level of experience demonstration maturity and capability
