Job Description

As a Business Manager for Managed Services your role is to oversee and manage the operations and business activities related to the provision of manpower services and Advanced Parts Order System (APOS) to clients. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to ensure the successful delivery of services, meeting client expectations, and driving business growth. This position requires a combination of business acumen, leadership skills, and technical knowledge in the system integration industry.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans for the managed services business unit, specifically focusing on manpower services and the Advanced Parts Order System. Identify market opportunities, define target client segments, and develop service offerings to meet client needs.
  • Business Development: Drive business growth by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities for manpower services and APOS. Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure client satisfaction and drive repeat business. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends and develop strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Service Delivery: Oversee the delivery of manpower services and APOS to clients, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). Monitor service performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technical teams and project managers, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Manpower Management: Manage the manpower resources required for the provision of services. Recruit, train, and develop a skilled workforce to meet client demands. Ensure adequate staffing levels, manage resource allocation, and optimize workforce utilization. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, productivity, and employee growth.
  • APOS Management: Oversee the operations and management of the Advanced Parts Order System. Collaborate with technical teams and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate parts ordering and fulfillment. Develop and implement strategies to streamline the APOS process, reduce lead times, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage the budget for the manpower services and APOS business unit. Monitor financial performance, analyze revenue and cost data, and make strategic recommendations to maximize profitability. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders. Conduct regular meetings and communication to understand client needs, address concerns, and provide updates on service delivery. Act as the primary point of contact for escalations and conflict resolution related to manpower services and APOS.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and security protocols. Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks and ensure data protection and confidentiality related to manpower services and APOS.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the availability of manpower resources and seamless APOS operations. Negotiate contracts, manage service level agreements, and monitor vendor performance.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Prepare regular reports and metrics to track the performance of the manpower services and APOS business unit. Analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights to drive continuous improvement and inform decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in business administration, management, IT, or a related field. MBA or equivalent degree preferred.
  • 5+ yrs of Proven experience in a similar business management role, preferably in a system integrated company, specifically in manpower services and parts order management.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of managed services business models, industry trends, and client requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
