About Businessline/Function
Product Control is part of COCE (Client Operating Centre of Excellence), performing multiple Middle Office functions. Product Control have 6 verticals - P&L and Valuation Controls, OTC Trade Validation, Securities Trade Validation & Documentation, OTC Documentation, Trading & Portfolio Control and Position Management. Team works very closely with Trading, Sales, Business Managers and various FtB teams like Back Office, Regional Finance and COO community.

Position Purpose
India Product Control team is now 400 staff and this business management role will support India and Global business management function. The role will provide support under the four pillars of Strategy, Governance, Business Management and Projects. The individual will be responsible for the below mentioned tasks
Responsibilities

Strategy
- Preparation and Monitoring of budgets including monthly variance
- KPI Strategy
- Headcount Governance by Region/ Global
- BCM and ERS coordination
Governance
- F24/B25 budget coordination and engagement with Global
- India KPI meeting coordination (preparation, minutes, follow-up, continuous review)
- Governance around Continuous improvement (STEP),
- LBO Governance calls 12+ every quarter
Business Management including Ops Risk Monitoring, Cost Monitoring
- Management Meetings (slides, minutes, coordination)
- Ops requests (IG, incidents, Shadow IT, PCC, ICC)
- Regular coordination with Global and Regional business management teams
- RCSA preparation / coordination with OPC
- Invoicing
- Employee Engagement
- Visitors Management / DL and Org charts update / Mandates
Projects
- Control Optimization and review
- IT outages review and Drive partnership with IT
- Drive initiatives like Span of Control
- HR Pulse Survey and skip level feedback action plan
- GMO PC events (panoramas, get together, townhalls)
Transformation
- Hiring
- US Shift build out
- Training initiatives like Certification & Digitalization
Contributing Responsibilities
- Direct relationships with the Product control head and managers..
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and team leads.
- Strong working relationship with local management
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- At least 5+ years in business management role.
- IB Operations experience preferred especially in project management.
- Competency with MS Suite, especially Excel, and the ability to learn multiple programs quickly.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
- Innovative - constantly identifying gaps in process and to seek improvements
- Ethics and Control must have good work ethics and risk / control mind set.
- Excellent Communications skills both oral and written
