Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Manager to join our team. This role is a critical bridge between sales and delivery teams, responsible for ensuring smooth transitions, meeting revenue targets, hitting service-level agreements (SLAs), and providing outstanding client management.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders from across India & the US.

What you will do:
  • Process Management: Coordinate with the sales team to ensure a seamless transition of leads to the operations team, clarifying requirements and setting clear expectations.
  • Revenue Management: Develop strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals by maximizing client satisfaction and identifying new opportunities for growth.
  • Service-Level Agreements (SLAs): Work closely with the marketplace team to monitor and meet SLAs, implementing corrective actions when necessary to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Client Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients from across India & the US, offering insights on budget allocation, suggesting process improvements, and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including sales, marketing, product, and customer service, to ensure alignment with company goals and seamless client experiences.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Create regular reports on revenue, SLAs, and client satisfaction. Use data to identify trends and recommend improvements to senior management.

You should be/ have:
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with clients, providing guidance and solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Experience in achieving revenue goals through effective client management, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven strategies.
  • Ability to identify and resolve operational issues, suggesting process improvements and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Proven track record of hitting SLAs while managing multiple tasks and projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Past experience with and ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and senior management.
  • Capable of analyzing operational data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and make strategic recommendations. Proficiency with business tools and CRM software is required.
  • Knowledge of the tech ecosystem and what different roles in tech look like.
  • A team-oriented approach, valuing cooperation and collaboration across departments to achieve shared goals.
  • Past experience in early stage startups.

Expectations in Week 1
  • Onboarding and familiarization with the Flexiple's processes, products, and services.
  • Meet with key stakeholders, including sales and marketplace teams, to understand the current workflow.

Expectations in Month 1
  • Establish clear communication channels with marketplace managers.
  • Begin overseeing the transition of roles we are working on from sales to delivery team.
  • Identify any initial gaps or issues in meeting SLAs and develop a plan to address them.
  • Pick up necessary understanding of tech concepts and product strategy that are needed for the industry.
  • Implement strategies to reach revenue goals and monitor progress.

  • Refine strategies to reach revenue goals and monitor progress.
  • Establish a strong relationship with key clients, offering guidance on budget adjustments and other requirements.
  • Review and refine processes to ensure SLA compliance and client satisfaction.
  • Fine-tune your understanding of tech concepts and product strategy that are needed for the industry.

Expectations in Month 6
  • Manage a robust pipeline and continue to meet & exceed targets.
  • Build strong relationships with key clients and accounts you are working with.
  • Make recommendations to the leadership based on client feedback and data analysis to enhance our product.
  • Have a deep understanding of the tech and product ecosystem to hold nuanced conversations with clients.
