Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
- Lead and manage the operations team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and alignment with company goals.
Process Optimization:
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Performance Management:
- Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to ensure targets are met. Develop and implement action plans to address any performance issues.
Resource Allocation:
- Oversee the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize operational output and minimize costs.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial targets.
Compliance:
- Ensure that all operational activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Project Management:
- Lead and support operational projects, including process improvements, technology implementations, and facility upgrades.
Team Development:
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Reporting:
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, including key metrics, challenges, and progress towards goals.
Customer Focus:
- Ensure that operational processes align with customer needs and expectations, addressing any issues that may arise to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP) is a plus.
Experience: Proven experience in operations management, with a track record of successfully managing teams and improving operational performance.
Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results.
Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing operational data and using insights to make informed decisions and implement improvements.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in operations management software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
